по теме: «Can we learn to live in Peace?»
Основная задача: Развитие лексических навыков, совершенствование навыков устной речи, монологической речи, чтения и аудирования.
Воспитательная задача: Учить учащихся преодолевать конфликты.
Оборудование: презентация, диск (аудирование), грамматическая таблица.
Ход урока:
1.Организационный момент.
Учитель: Good day. I am glad to see you. Who is on duty today? (рапорт дежурного).
Let s begin our lesson with a tongue – twister.
Whether the weather is cold
Whether the weather is hot
We’ll weather the weather
Whatever the weather
Whether we like it or not .
Учитель: What is this tonque – twister about?
What is the weather like today?
What will we discuss today?
Ученики: I think we will discuss different conflicts (between parents and children, children and teachers, between classmates).
2.Речевая зарядка.
Учитель:Let s give the definition of the word «conflict» in the form of syngvain (проверка домашнего задания).

3. Обучение устной речи по теме.

2 .What may conflicts lead to?

4. I am sure you do not always say discouraging things about your behaviour to your parents, about your bad marks . Am I right?
5. Do you have conflicts with your teachers?
6. How do young people try to cope with their problems?
7. What can we do to resolve conflicts?(conflict resolution –ex 40 p 114)

Meet the participants of the conference.The conference is taking place in Moscow. There are also some representatives from different schools from Russia.

Kate: Have you ever spoken at any large meeting?
3. Yes, I have.
Kate: When was it?
3. At the end of the school year. It was a meeting with exchange partners from the USA.
Kate: Did you speak English or Russian?
3. I spoke English and it was not easy.
Kate: Good luck.

Kate: And you? Have you ever spoken at the International meeting?
4. No,I have never been at any International meeting before.
Kate: So, it is the first time you are going to speak at the International conference today?
4. Yes, it is.And I am a little nervous.

Учитель: In the age of new technologies English is a good chance for you to communicate with teenagers from other countries and to take part the Teenagers competitions. Let s train and do the tasks which were published in the Internet last year.

5. It is exciting. I like everything. Yesterday we made an excursion about Moscow. I like all the historical buildings and the City of course. And I got acquainted with Moscovites. They are sociable, friendly and kind.
Kate: Are you from Great Britain? What did you like best of all?
6. Everything was O.K. I learned many interesting things about Russia, Canada, the USA, Australia and New Zealand.
